Will OG Next members co-mingle with OG Members?

OG Next is a separate community with its own online platform. From time to time, there may be crossover in events, mentorship, and virtual education series but the two communities will remain separate for the most part, overlapping where there are mutual benefits. Most of the cross-community exchange will be through knowledge, education and jobs.

Who is OG Next for?

OG Next is a good fit for anyone working in a finance or operations role at the manager level or below, with approximately 2-7 years of experience. OG Next is not the right community for individuals in roles focused primarily in GTM (Sales and Marketing), Product & Engineering and/or Investing (Private Equity, Venture Capital). That said, if you have a strong interest to switch to the operating side and away from these roles, OG Next is perfect for that transition and would love your multi-disciplined experience you bring. If you are a more senior operator (Director and above) that leads a team or function, please apply at Operators Guild! If you are unsure, drop us a note at OG-Next@operators-guild.com.
What does membership cost?

OG Next member dues are $275/annually or $100/quarterly, paid upfront. With the cost of membership you will gain access to the online community forum, Quarterly In-person events, Virtual webinars and masterclasses, and OG Connect to meet with members of the community. These dues are critical to maintaining the premium experience and offerings OG is known for - reinvested into the educational programs, mentorship programs, career services and in-person events as OGN grows globally.
Can other co-workers from my company join OG Next?

Yes, if any of your co-workers fit the criteria for OG Next, we encourage them to apply. There is no a limit to the number of OG Next members from a certain company.
How do I refer new members?

You can write to og-next@operators-guild.com sharing prospective members that you think highly of and/or ask them to complete an application and list you as “how they heard about OGN”. Make sure any referrals put your name down when asked how they heard about OG Next!
What is OG Next?

How do I apply and what is the vetting process?

Apply through our application. Preference will be given to applicants who have been nominated or referred by active OG members. If you meet the criteria based on your application, our team will reach out to you and invite you to an informational session to make sure it is a mutual fit.

Jobs: Personal candidate profiles where OG members get preferred access to OG Next talent. What is the difference between the Operators Guild (“OG”) and OG Next (“OGN”)?

OG vs.OG Next: OG Next is a good fit for Operators with 2-7 years of experience. OG is for the senior operator who leads a team or function. OG has more established chapters and local geographic presence whereas OG Next will be more virtual in focus with fewer in-person gatherings.
